Pictures of Actual Ohio Natural Gas & Crude Oil Wells.  These wells produce domestic energy supplies 365 days a year, and many will produce for decades ------ not months.  Today, there are over 64,000 active wells in Ohio.

Pictures of several Ohio rotary rigs drilling for domestic natural gas and crude oil deposits.  The drilling rig is typicaly on location for only 5 to 7 days, and then the area is completely reclaimed based on each individual landowners request (see pictures above for samples of these wells once they are completed and put into production).  To date, there have been over 274,000 wells drilled in Ohio.
